She is not naive nor is she delusional to believe that her lover in Paris can actually ever fall for her. This is a professional relationship. They get paid millions per endorsement from their fantasy romance. This 'actress' has had high profile relationships from, especially the vocalist from a famous band. So she can nitpick who is straight from the a crowd of men. So instead of everyone feeling sorry for her for being in a sham relationship, they should applaud her for finding an "easy" way to earn cash. This is after all show-business. This was a knockout tandem, in an economical point of view.
